Sister Esther mourns beside Father Abel's grave, as Cain Nightroad and Isaak Fernand von Kampfer begin their attack on Albion.
With the whole place in chaos, Virgil attempts to find the Star, the Queen of Albion. He approaches Esther, and reveals that she is the one. Not knowing what to do, she hears Abel's voice reassure her. She agrees to go with Virgil.
Meanwhile, Lady Caterina acts as well, sending the AX members, Father Wordsworth, Father Leon, Father Tres, and Father Hugue, to Albion to defend the people. Brother Petros and Sister Paula return the Pope to her, who states that after the battle he wishes to change things in the underground.
The AX members board Father Wordsworth's flying car, a new invention, and attempt to destroy the airship the Third Power is using. After a failed attempt, Asta and Ion arrive on the scene and try their hand at bringing it down. They too fail.
Sister Esther arrives down below and tells the people to stop rioting. Mary looks on with disbelief as the Queen of Albion has arrived.
