The National
Palace in Barcelona, Spain
has collapsed! Following up on this, Lady Caterina sends Abel to investigate
the cause. Much to Abel's protests of wanting more sleep, she sends him anyway.
Surprisingly, Noelle is order to go as well.
Once in Spain, the two question a detective. He tells them that they have figured out the cause – faulty equipment. Even though Abel knows there's more to it, he still protests that he wants to go home and get some sleep. Noelle tells him that they might as well have fun on the Vatican's dime, that is, use the money they were given for the mission for other things since there isn't anything suspicious. Abel objects to this idea at first, but soon, he and Noelle spend the entire day together.
Back in Rome, Caterina is about to recall the two back since it appears that nothing out of the ordinary occurred there. However, Sister Kate appears, via hologram, and informs Caterina that there has been huge spending at the Sagrada Familia, and that the old pharmacy is somehow connected.
Kate informs Abel and Noelle of this. Abel tells Noelle to go back to the inn and get some rest since she's drunk. However, she protests and eventually tells him her true feelings. She asks Abel how he feels about her, but he only calls her a special friend. Noelle gets upset, and according to her "sobers up", and marches off to the pharmacy. Abel heads to the Sagrada Familia.
Once there, Noelle finds an empty building. She heads up to the main room and sifts through some papers. She contacts Abel via her earpiece, and tells him that the Sagrada Familia is definitely connected to the pharmacy.
Abel ventures into the Sagrada Familia and discovers a dead Professor Baring hanging from the ceiling. He then finds Isaak Fernand von Kämpfer, a member of the Rosen Creuz. Kämpfer tells Abel that he's too late. He summons five demons and then starts to play the organ, which, as Abel soon figures out, is the secret weapon – the Silent Noise!
As Kämpfer plays the organ, Noelle contacts Abel, telling him that she feels like an earthquake is occurring. Abel tells her to get out of the city, but the transmission is too broken up for her to decipher.
Not wanting anyone to die, Abel enters his Crusnik form and attacks the demons. He then focuses his anger at Kämpfer. Kämpfer tells him that he was too late again, as the city is already in ruins. Kämpfer then disappears, leaving a crying Abel and a destroyed city.
